Leonhardt & Blumberg offers the Hansa Rendsburg and Hansa Flensburg on an itinerary departing from Los Angeles to New Zealand and Australia. Freighter World visited the Hansa Rendsburg when the vessel was in Los Angeles and we found that this new ship has a good standard, and is clean and comfortable, with accommodations for 6 passengers. The passenger cabins are located on Deck F and include an Owner's Suite with a clear forward view, and two double suites, both with clear side and/or forward views. Each cabin has twin beds and a refrigerator (a larger one in the Owner's Suite), and has a sitting room with a sofa, chairs and a desk. The cabins are air conditioned. Passengers can also enjoy a small inside swimming pool and an exercise room with a ping pong table located on the main deck. The officers' lounge, with VCR and tapes, is located on Deck E, and the officers' dining room is located on the poop deck. There is no elevator. The Hansa Rendsburg (ex-CP Jabiru) and Hansa Flensburg (ex-CP Condor) are sisterships. Built in 2000, they are 23,587 DWT and 574 feet long.
