Cruise Ship Repositionings

A trans-ocean crossing on a Tall Ship is the fondest dream of anyone who loves sailing. Imagine long lazy days at sea, watching the water slip under the bow, gazing at a horizon that is 360 degrees wide, feeling the steadying power of sails as they capture the energy of the wind and thrust your ship through the vast expanse of ocean. At times you can stretch out in the bow net and watch the water slip by just a few meters below you. For those who love the sea, this is the ultimate way to experience it! In all the world, there is no experience as wonderfully renewing and invigorating.

Star Clippers' fleet of three tall ships offer authentic sailing adventures with all the amenities found on a luxury mega-yacht. The ship's accommodations are thoughtfully designed featuring a private bathroom, air conditioning, hair dryer, private safe, television and telephone. The dress code is casual, and there is single, open seating in the dining room. Star Clippers was named "World's Leading Specialty Cruise Line" by World Travel Awards.

Star Clippers' flagship, the Royal Clipper, is the largest true sailing passenger ship, with 5 masts, 42 sails, and 21,000 square feet of teak deck. She can accommodate 227 passengers. Nancy sailed on her for a week from Civitavecchia, Italy down the Italian coast, and came back highly enthusiastic about the vessel and the crew. Click here for Nancy's article with photographs about her experience. Interesting shore excursions are offered for an additional fee. Free water sports are offered from the ship. The Star Clipper and Star Flyer have 4 masts, 16 sails, and 36,000 square feet of sail. They are 360 feet in length, with a mast height of 226 feet, and can accommodate 170 passengers.

Contact Joycene for more information and a brochure. Air arrangements are available or passengers can book cruise only. The ships are registered in Luxembourg. These offerings are for residents of North and South America only. No age limit.
